The centre lock release unlocks both left and right simultaneously. Optional reverse handle for locking/unlocking from both sides. Note: not a child-proof barrier; not a security feature. Motorised blinds do not have a locking mechanism. ### What Are Track-Guided Blinds? The Ziptrak® Outdoor Track-Guided system uses vertical tracks within a channel on each side to guide and secure the fabric — preventing flapping, creating a sealed barrier against dust, dirt and insects, and enabling year-round outdoor use. Best for enclosed, warm outdoor areas. - **Sunscreen Mesh:** Allows airflow. Reduces sun, glare, dust, insects. More privacy than PVC. Blocks percentage of wind and rain depending on weave. ### Why No Zip in Ziptrak®? Founder Tony de Maaijer described the blind as moving "zippily" — easily up and down the track. The brand name reflects effortless motion, not a zipper. The patented side spline technology is far stronger and more durable than any zipper. Engineers have rigorously tested and confirmed this. ### Pelmets A pelmet is a protective cover over the top of the blind, concealing the fabric roll and internal components.
